Emma's Haunted Castle Cake
My little girl turned 5, and wanted a haunted castle. She chose the colors and helped decorate, so she is very proud! Used Wilton's castel set. Cake is white with buttercream; turrets are covered in fondant; tops of turrets are buttercream with sprinkles. Definitely not a work of art, but she loved it and it was a hit!

Dora And Diego
Egads...my 5 yr old and 2 yr old were helping me...and the cake is lopsided! This is for my two year old's birthday. She loves Dora and Diego. Couldn't find a matching set of figures despite the fact that we own every Dora toy known to mankind, so we made do. Dora and Swiper are from the checkers set (Dora doesn't sit flat, so I will push her into the cake right before the party). Boots is just a head, cut from a hairband. And Diego is an actual toy from the Animal Rescue Center. Our dog ate Jaguar!

Belly Cake
Thanks so much to kris_813, who sent me the instructions 2 months ago, and to ellyrae, who sent instructions to kris_813! I finally got to do this cake for a baby shower. I of course can see all the flaws, but I like it anyway. It is a 1/2 sheet cake, chocolate with raspberry filling and choc buttercream. Yummy! The guest of honor loved it, from what I hear.
