Green Lantern cake I made for a childs birthday. Green Lantern is a FBCT made with all shortening frosting. I made the FBCT 8x11 and did a thick layer of white on the backside to make sure it didnt break whle transferring. It wasnt frozen all the way even after freezing overnight so I had to transfer it very slowly but thankfully it didnt get messed up too much, just a little smudge on one edge but was easily fixable. Thanks for looking.

Heres a thomas cake i did for my 3 yr old DS birthday today. I wanted to do a bigger cake and add trees and things like that but didnt feel up to having anyone over so i did a small very simple cake for him. Its triple chocolate cake with strawberry filling, chocolate transfer shed and his thomas trains. I did put some wax paper under the wheels so they dont touch the cake at all.
This is my 1st turkey cake. I'm happy with the results but there are some things that could have been better. 1 leg kept giving me such a problem and kept breaking. I had to use a dowel to attach the legs. I was happy at the end though.
This is a thanksgiving cake i did for DH thanksgiving at work. Its white & butter pecan cake mixed with some vanilla chai and frosting is whipped cream buttercream. I'm not totally happy with it, i really need to work on my placement but i'm learning with each one i do.
1st halloween cake, 1st stacked cake & 1st topsy turvy cake. 9'' chocolate with cookies & cream filling, 8'' cinnamon swirl with whipped cream buttercream filling & scratch cake as tombstone. Frosted with whipped cream buttercream, fondant roses and chocolate figures.

This cake was a disaster, i wanted to try the vanilla chai coffeemate with white cake (delish) and decided to do mmf again to practice with it. the cake doesnt look too bad from this view but it definately shows how much of an amature i am. I tried to do stencils and it came out horrible. Cake is fondant with Royal flowers.
This is a pooh cake i did for my sons 1st birthday. Its yellow cake on top, butter pecan on the bottom with chocolate filling and whipped cream buttercream frosting. all figures are chocolate transfers with the exception of a couple of royal icing roses (yellow & blue). I loved the way it came out, exactly as i pictured. Very fun cake to make. Oh and i love love love the grass tip. I took some ideas from other CC members, thank you all for the inspiration especially Merissa.

Just some regular size cupcakes with roses on top, tip #124 for the roses. Using the cupcake as the flower nail took some getting used to but it was fun to make.
I did these roses with mmf using the technique i saw Duff do on Ace of Cakes. I think they are really cute and its super simple.
No Fail sugar cookies with antonia74 royal icing. they were so yummy. i forgot to cream the butter & sugar together but no harm was done. the wilton spray mist didnt work out too well.
here's my 1st chocolate transfer, it was pretty simple. I did the cake for my hubby's co-workers at the post office. used the patch on his shirt to do the transfer so it was not as big as i wanted and the image is reversed on the cake. i cant wait to do my son's 1st birthday pooh cake in a few weeks. this cake was strawberry with strawberry filling (from country kitchen, so good) and whipped cream buttercream icing.
