A mini cupcake on a cupcake... The mini was made with a mini Reese's peanut butter cup. I sprinkled Nerds candy on top.
Giant cupcake using Wiltons cupcake pan. I used a spatula to create the lines in the frosting on the bottom. The top is done in 1M rosettes with fondant daisies and sprinkled with edible glitter. The cake is all buttercream frosting, lemon cake torted with a raspberry filling.
This was my first attempt at a double barrel cake. The bottom is four 8in. cakes and the top is two 6in. cakes. The cakes are covered in BC, with fondant polka dots and flowers. The booties are real booties I bought at the baby store.

Just a simple black forest cake for a birthday. I filled the inside with three layers of whipped cream frosting and cherry filling. Whipped cream frosting on the outside and cake crumbs on the sides.

I made this cake for my daughters 10th birthday. I got the idea from looking at several different pics on-line. The bottom layer is a dummy (I didn't need that much cake!). The turrets are paper towel tubes covered in plastic wrap and frosted with bc. The tops are ice cream cones sprayed with black edible spray in the can. The crests were plastic rings I had bought. The doors, windows and clock are fondant. The arch over the clock is graham crackers. Plastic trees, shrubs and Harry. Edible chocolate rocks. Oh, and I smoothed EVERYTHING with Viva paper towel.
I got a request for carrot cake and red velvet cake. I made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting then I topped it with chocolate covered red velvet cake balls. Added a few purple fondant flowers for pretty.
I found this idea in an on-line search. The heads are peppermint patties and the ears are junior mints. The rest was done in bc.

Been wanting to try this design! First time making anemonie flowers too! The cake is a 7 in. round bc frosting in a pale yellow. flowers are lavender colored fondant brushed with purple pearl dust.

The request was for a man turning 80 who loved chocolate! That is what I gave him! I got the inspiration from a Wilton book. The '80' is all chocolate and so are the leaves and scrolls on the side. The cake itself was chocolate with chocolate bc. and chocolate ganache.

I made this for my daughters 3rd bday. I got the idea out of an old cake magazine I had. The center cake was a 9x13 cut and stacked. Then the sides were individual small round cakes. I added ice cream cones covered in bc and topped with flags made from toothpicks and cardstock. All done in bc.
I made this for a teens Halloween party. I used markers to enhance the witches face and added white to her hair with food color. The hat I made from cardstock and the broom is a dowel.
Made this cake for a friends mother's birthday. Covered in off white bc, white cornelli lace and swags and borders. The pearls in the swags are not edible either. The flowers are actually artificial.
This is a cake I saw a picture of in a magazine and copied for an 80th birthday party. No one thought it was a cake! It is two square cakes with a smaller one layer square cake on top in the middle to give it height. Then the cake is frosted with bc and covered in pirouline cookies all around the outside. Then I just piled on strawberries and blueberries and a real ribbon.
Made this for an engagement party. Covered in fondant and the roses and leaves are all fondant dusted with pearl dust. The ribbon around the cake is actual ribbon. This was only my second time ever working with fondant!
