I did this cake last minute for a friend who is moving out of state so I kept it simple. The cake is yellow cake because it's her favorite with chocolate icing. The writing and decoration is pink royal icing because pink is her favorite color.

This is the first cake that I have used fondant on. I made it for my mom for Mother's Day. There are some wrinkles in the white fondant that I couldn't work out and one of the bow loops broke, but those were the only problems I ran into. I think it turned out okay for my first experiment with fondant :)
