Over The Hill
Yep the typical tombstone character cake... I put this cake on a slab cake becase I needed to be able to feed 30 people. I used the grass tip and added flowers and added a pretty blue sky with clouds.....Looks kind of cartoonish I guess LOL..... Did this for a friend's 40th birthday party. I didn't want to go too dark in case it was way too insulting hence the cartoonish look.... Actually I was just goofing around and came up with this....

Dora Birthday Cake For My Niece
I haven't seen character cakes on here yet but mind you I am just new here so maybe there are some. I know they are cheating...I love doing character cakes because they are so easy. My niece loves Dora so I had to do this cake. It was the very first character cake I ever did.

What A Pain To Do!
Just like it says! What a pain to do all these colors in Fondant! The cake turned out great...well not too keen on the bow but only the 2nd cake I ever did in fondant. Chocolate cake with chocolate mint icing and fudge sauce in between the layers. Took forever knead the colors into the fondant

Snow Ball Flower Cake
Got a little inspiration from a SnowBall Flower Shrub we have. Made this cake for my sister when she was in town. Didn't feel like messing with colors plus in a bit of a hurry to get the cake done. Hard to see because all in white but was really quite pretty in person and sooo easy..

My First Chocolate Fondant Cake
This cake I made for my Parent's Birthday party on Saturday. This is the first time I ever worked with Chocolate Fondant. My first attempt at Ribbon Roses too so that is why they aren't perfect. Kind of look like they are throwing up don't they! This fondant was to die for! I ate so much of the stuff! Can someone tell me why cakes always look so much nicer in person than they do in a picture?
