12 inch Choc with strawberry filling- My friends daughter wanted lavender and daisies. This is what I came up with. Not great, but I am glad it is done.
This cake was for the UPS man. He delivered a package one day while I was baking a cake and asked if I could make him one for his kids. It was for a boy and girl so he came up with a beach theme. White cake/strawberry filling- water was doen by airbrush (finally got to use it!) sand was graham cracker crumbs- It was fun!
These went with the Dora cake. They have an edible image of Dora on them.
This was my daughters Birthday Cake. I know, it is very busy looking but I had alot of fun with this. I made so many fondant pieces, that I just had to put them all on! This was my first cake like this. I have not done to many fondant cakes and I realized that when I was putting it together! Oh so many problems! My daughter loved it(she screamed!) All of the guests were very amazed which made me feel oh so good! Dora kept falling over(it was a toy) so I had to put cookie sticks behind her to hold her up
These were some samples I made to show what I am doing for Thanksgiving. I am not sure yet how I feel about the acorn. One was made with Coarse White Sugars on the top to add some texture. Not sure if I will keep them plain or with the sugars.

This was a very last minute cake! My sister called me at 9:00pm and said she was having a party for her kids the next day at noon! WHAT!!???? Who orders a cake only a few hours before the party???? Anyway, I stayed up all night. 8 in. Square strawberry cake with edible image of spiderman and Dora. (joint party she only wanted 1 cake)
This cake was made for my neighbor. Gave me another chance to practice with my printer. He turned 45 and his wife wanted a plain cake with his baby picture on it. I am very upset with my handwriting! I don't think I will ever be able to write on a cake!

This was a "just because" cake I made for a freind who loves the Hulk. It Gave me more practice with my printer. I had major problems getting it to print and then problems with the black not printing and so on! So Glad I encountered these problems on a practice cake! I am not going to even talk about my crazy borders!!
First of all I would like to say THANKS to TRACI for all of the help you gave me with my edible image printer! I could not have done this without all of your help!! This cake is for a boy at my church who kept saying I wish one day I could have a Power Ranger Cake for my birthday. (was that a hint??!!) So, this is what I came up with. First time I got to use my printer! Love it!!! I did mess up with all of the sprinkles(went overboard!) I was trying to hide a really bad smoothing job!
Well, this is the 21st birthday cookie bouquet that I needed so much help with. I am not really happy with it but I did give it my best. They wanted really bright colors and an all alcohol theme. The Cosmo and absolut bottles were the baby bottle cutter, trimmed on sides and nipple cut off and a larger piece added on top. My blue icing started to get funny looking after about an hour. Oh well! The birthday girl still enjoyed it!
This is the 4th and last cake. I was asked to do a cake with shamrocks on it. By the time I got to this cake, I was beat!! So, I used choc molds for the shamrocks and I even used choc for the writing. I need a Vacation!!!
This is the 3rd cake. 12x18 Almond cake with Baby carrige(sp?) cake on top. I used choc molds for the letters. Not happy with how I had to arrange them but I had to do what I had to do.
This is the 2nd out of 4 cakes that I had to deliver on Saturday. Chocolate cake with choc mousse filling. Nothing special- I was in a hurry so I even used wafer roses!
My mothers friend asked if I would make her husband a small 6 inch cake for their anniversary. She told me to just slap some frosting on it and he would be happy with that. This is what I gave her. She was very happy! I still need lots of practice!! PS- I bought the roses!!
A friend of mine loves Margaritas so I made this cake for her birthday. I added a lime to the top once I arrived at her house. I used a white cake and added lots of Margarita mix! The Frosting was Richs bettercream flavored Lime.
Someone my sister works with ordered 5 Baby Girl Cookie Boquets for a baby shower so this is what I came up with. I see alot of mistakes now that I look at it but I am somewhat ok with how they turned out.
This was for one of my mothers friends. She wanted 1/2 amaretto cake and half Kahlua(sp?) This was just something simple- Had a heck of a time with the flowers!! I think I need a refresher course!!! They were royal icing. I did not plan on this weighing almost 40 pounds and being a bit over 5 inches tall!
