Cookie Graduation Cake
My daughter graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in TV Production. The cookies reflect her hard work and hopes and dreams. She recently made a documentary film, she worked on Frequency T.V. (campus station), and dreams of working for either Ellen or Oprah one day. All cookies were hand cut (except grad caps/stars) and are NFSC with Antonia's RI. She LOVED it and that's what counts! TFL.

Tropical Birthday
I made this for my daughter who lives in Chicago (I'm in Detroit area) The cake left with her friends in two separate tiers and she put it together when it arrived, luckily with no harm done. She added the buttercream border at the base of the top tier as well as all of the cookies on the top. All decorations are sugar cookies decorated with RI. Bottom 10" tier was chocolate with oreo and cream filling, top 8" tier was lemon with lemon buttercream and raspberry filling. A HUGE thanks to fellow CC member, wtare (Terry), for coming to my house and helping me assemble the cake and frost it. I couldn't have done it without her! As a "cookie person" I have a huge respect now for those that do cakes! Huge amount of work for me, but my daughter loved it and that's what it's all about. TFL!

Halloween
My first attempt at using stencils! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but you have to be careful not to get the black onto the edge of the cookie! Royal icing base and royal used to cover the stencil. I bought the pack of Wilton cookie and cupcake stencils at Michaels. TFL (skeleton did not come with the Wilton package)

Vote 08
Just doing my part to get out the vote! I made these for the teacher's lounge at my school. I'll be watching to see which "party" disappears first...not a very scientific poll...but it seems as good as any other poll I've seen recently! Don't forget to vote! NFSC, RI, and edible images, TFL.

Baby Girl
These were made and shipped to Florida for my husband's niece. She just had her first baby, and guess who was elected to make the gift! Baby in blanket design is originally from Eleni's, but I saw the version that TracyLH did...and she was my inspiration! Thanks Tracy! :-) NFSC with RI. TFL

Gymnasts
These were made as favors for a gymnastics birthday party. I made a total of 15. They are NFSC and chocolate sugar cookies decorated with royal icing. The inspiration for these cookies came from CC member bellsnbows who made a really cute gymnastics cake that had characters like these on her cake. Thanks so much for looking...they took a REALLY long time to make! :-)

Summer Tray
Hooray! Summer School ended today, and I made these as a parting gift for my students! Hope Labor Day takes a loooong time to get here...because it's back to work after that, and less time for cookie making! Suns are fondant covered with RI details, and flip flops are covered with Antonia's RI. TFL

Graduation "tree"
Remember the thread this past winter about making "cookie trees?" Well, I've been thinking about it for months, and finally this is what I came up with. I made this for a friend's daughter who will be attending the Univ. Michigan in the Fall. Since her high school colors were the same as U of M...it all worked! I included edible images of her senior picture as well. All cookies are NFSC with RI.

Edible Image Cookie Bouquet
Many of you have asked to see cookies done with the new E.I. printers that so many of us have just recently purchased...so here's a bouquet I just completed with my new printer. It was very easy, and a lot of fun! I'm now a slave to my daughter, and all of her friends that are celebrating birthdays! TFL.
