Meant to do black scroll work on the pink, but due to unforseen problems with seaming a round cake, I had to cover up my many mistakes with the diamond shapes. Turned out well anyway! It is a double layer chocolate cake with chocolate ganache frosting and raspberry flavored fondant icing covering.
This was my first cake made with fondant. the flowers didnt really work out for me, so they are kind of shapeless and generic shapes! tasted great!
