This is a cake I made for a school fundraiser. It is a scene from the book "A Fish Out of Water", one of my kids' favorites.
I made this for my sister's wedding. It took forever to do the basketweave and after a while it got a little crooked, but after I got all the real flowers on, it looked beautiful and my sister loved it.
I made this for a school fundraiser - it had to be based on a book. It made a nice bit of money for the school library. :) I had a lot of fun with the face.
