This was a cake for a little boy who I have made 4 different cakes for him so far. From his mom's baby shower to his 2nd B-Day. This cake almost looked 3D, it was really cool! I traced the image onto rice paper, I put piping gel on the back side (so it would stick to the cake), laid it on the cake and filled it in with butter cream icing.
This was for a friend of mine. As you can see, he loves Poker. I made the cards, table and chips out of sugar cookies, then dipped them in white chocolate and painted them. The head stone is cake with Butter Cream. The brown bushes are sugar cones covered with Butter Cream. It was fun to make and he really liked it.
This cake was for a set of twins. they had a bowling party so the of course wanted a bowling cake. The pins are cookies covered with fondant. The ball return is cake also covered with fondant. The ball is just a multi colored ball of fondant.
