My first attempt at a gumpaste bow and a present cake.
Made for the son of one of my mom's coworkers. He is turning 24 and she requested Eagles's colors (dark green & white) and the phrase "Are you ready for some football" on the cake as well as Happy Birthday David. It's 12:43 and I have to be up for work in 5 hours. Need to get started on these things earlier!
After getting some sleep I decided to try and lift the fondant and chocolate decorations off and spray the cake down w/ the blue mist color. I think it looked a lot better!
Finished this whole cake @ 1am and finally realized the frosting was supposed to be BLUE like WATER. Ugh. Idea for the cake from one done by MayWest.

Ugh. Everything that could go wrong w/ this set up pretty much did. I was horrified by the way it turned out and was in tears. Somehow everyone else thought it was just great and I got another wedding cake for the fall out of it? Blows my mind!
My attempt at the go kart cake I saw in the gallery by bjfranco. My first time doing any fondant molding or any kind of cutting into the cake so overall I was happy w/ it.
My son's 2nd birthday cake. He LOVES sesame! The Peyton sign is chocolate.
This was the cake from hades! Everything went wrong w/ and I spent more time fixing things than anything else. The people I made it for loved it though. All flowers are RI except for roses which are BC. The 70 is chocolate.
Tried to copy a cake I saw in the gallery. All buttercream. Used canned spray coloring on the roses.
