This cake was made to match my nephew's 1st Birthday Invitations. I made the hat out of a half ball pan to match the one on the invitation.
My daughter's 6th Birthday Cake. WASC Vanilla BC, flowers, butterflies and message are all nonedible, could certainly be done as edible but due to time I did not do that...Enjoy! This was easy easy and fun too! My daughter helped me pull it together at the last minute for her party last weekend!!!
Chocolate cake and BC. filled and carved. Fondant details painted with gold luster dust and vodka. Candy gold coins with graduates faces on them and hershey bars for the treasure...FUN to make! Everyone loved it!

8" and 6" round white cake. Turrets made from paper towel rolls and ice cream cones covered in fondant...I put the fondant on a not completely thawed cake.. and it was a hot day....it is sweating...Inspired by Sharon...of course.

Oval Purple scrolls, gumpaste Bible, rosary beads, cross, plaque. Yellow cake with vanilla buttercream. Flowers are gumpaste and dusted with petal dust.
Lemon Poppy Seed Pound Cake pots, covered with Satin Ice Fondant. Crushed oreo type cookies for dirt, ribbon on purple pots rim and fondant girl on grass mound. One is purple because I ran out of the terra cotta fondant that I made so I just made a purple one for my sister, she is my daughter's godmother...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

After seeing so many beautiful little fondant people I just had to try one. She is all fondant and she has fallen into herself a little but she was fun to make. Any and all tips will be greatly appreciated!
Fondant covered 1/2 ball for each hat with 6" underneath to lift them up a little more. This was one of my favorite cakes to do. Next time I will allow the brims to set for at least four days instead of two though...they had their flaws but I was still happy with them.
Five teired ivory, white almond cake, Buttercream brushed embroidery cornelli lace, swiss dots, gold accent fondant pearls, and scrollwork. 14,12,10,8,6 Square. White almond buttercream. Topper was the bride's grandmother's and it was perfect. The base was made by the groom. The was a wonderful couple to work with, but since I only do cakes for family and friends that is always easy for me...everyone I work with is nice...
WASC filled with Lemon curd. 10" Round, 4" High. All accents are gumpaste and royal icing. Used Super Gold mixed with Almond Extract for coloring. And lightly dusted everything with Super Pearl Dust. I think I should have left the bow off but my five year old really wanted it on there for her cousin. TFL

Fondant lace gown, on molded yellow cake, Doll pick with head and arms taken off to look more like a dress form. Royal icing necklace with pearl dust. Yellow base cake with Ivory BC and ivory ribbon. This is what you can do driving down the road....this is a rose I made out to starburt candy. I thought it would be fun to make it for my nephew...you never know someone out there may really want one of these one of these days.
I made this doozy for my Mother's 60th Birthday this week. You know it looked so much nicer in person. I really need to work on my piping skills though....as you can see, after the two hour ride in the car it was falling apart....It was quite fun to make though.

This is a baby shower cake with fondant teddy bears, blanket, balloons and puppy. I really enjoyed doing this one too...it was for a baby shower for two women and both were having a baby boy. BC for frosting.
White cake, BC, gumpaste carnations with some silver accent flowers. 30 was handmade (I personally did not like this one though...) I didn't like the way my numbers came out...I hope the birthday girl liked it though!

This is white cake, white fondant, gumpaste flowers (the color purple seperated...so they all had to be hand painted the day of the wedding...any pointers on that one would be appreciated!) Couple on top was provided by bride and groom.
