I did this one for my younger brother's graduation. It's shaped to look like a physics book (rolled out tootsie rolls frosted over for the bindings). Go Illini! :)

This was my (probably overambitious) first attempt at doing anything with gumpaste. It's a lot easier to do than I thought, but what I can't figure out is how you get the petals very large and to open up nicely without flopping over or (if you hang dry it) being too closed up. Any suggestions/tips are very welcome!!
