wanted to try writing on side of cake. too bad my caramel frosting hardened up so quickly - I think it would have been easier writing on a smoother surface. Thankfully, turtle cake (pecans and caramel filling, chocolate cake) can make up for any number of external flaws hehe.
Finally! It took me forever to figure out renaming this photo so I could find it to upload! iPhoto takes some learnin'! Okay, first time FBCT, was a LONG process with all the different colors. Embellished all different parts of it to make it "pop". Definitely need to work on this technique some more, but at least it got rave reviews! (I think it sealed me two more cake orders for summer birthdays)

First time I've done cookie decorating with royal. Tried to do a run in technique, but this was the month before I started my first decorating class, and I've learned so much since then I'm almost embarrassed what I didn't know when I made these.
