"Prada" back pack with the baby linen pattern on the "lid". The couples' passion for hiking for active life and love of their dog and celebration of their first baby was the inspiration. The (many) petals/leaves were cut with the cricut and the shoes (hiking boots) are gumpaste. The cake was supported as 2 cakes internally (thanks Wendy!) and delivered well:0 Thanks for looking-fun cake to do with LOTS of details and the proud parents to be, were pleased too:).

7-10-13 rounds . Fondant roses with gumpaste/fondant bows. I used the triple leaf cutter for the scroll work on top. The silver strips, scrolls, dots airbrushed with silver before placing on the cake. I loved the finished cake TFL:)

The bride and groom were going to the Ferrari plant in Italy on their honeymoon. Carved cake. Used plastic transparency sheet for the windshield and engine compartment.
Carved with the help of a barbie replica--this was barbie's first car back in the 60's (i think)
Minnie ears (supported on stirrers), fondant bow, 1/2 ball pan. 7" tapered to 6" (3 layers) filled with fresh strawberries and whip cream. base layer 9" tapererd to 8". Combined Inspiration from several pictures the bday girl's mom found for me. Very fun-first cake with my new oven (wore the old one out:( ).
6" 10" 14" squares (10" is the real cake) set on fondant covered styrofoam wedges. Impression mat used for the paisley top pattern. Used Michelle Foster's fondant recipe--it seems to stretch and cover the square corners nicely. I hand painted the scroll work with silver luster dust. Sprayed over with pearl luster dust. TFL!
Made for a grad traveling from Cal Poly Pomona to Long U-Boston packed with diploma (sugar sheet over fondant on a chocolate bar-hand written in edible marker), fondant microphone with school logo in edible pen, rolled music sugar sheet. 8x8" and 10x10" squares cakes stacked and carved and doweled. Used a texture mat for the circle pattern and made the black fondant music notes on the bag from a mold. Purse straps with sewing wheel stitching. All Michelle Foster fondant. :) TFL!
