Wedding Shower Cake
Cake is designed to match the invitation that went out to the guests. The image standing on the top is a scanned image and printed on a frosting sheet and then placed on gumpaste to make it stand up. Image was reversed and is mirrored back to front (it is on both sides). Gumpaste flowers and sugar pearl centers .

Class With Colette Peters
We were given three pieces of fabric and a button. Shape and designed our cakes in class based on these items. The spurts and flowers were from one fabric, the snail trail and airbrush colors from another; the button we used Crayola Fun Foam and made a reverse design. It is the center of the red flower with the 5-petals in brown food color. Go to www.caljavaonline.com/cakevacation-colette.htm to see photos from the class.

Casino Night Birthday Party Cake
1/4 sheet chocolate cake w/raspberry filling, frosted with buttercream and a printed frosting sheet copy of the actual invitation laid directly onto the buttercream after smoothing. Airbrushed green then black to soften the green hue. Red accents added for just the right punch~! My nephew loved it~!

Small Wedding Cake
This cake is a two tier buttercream frosted little lovely creation. Buttercream is allowed to "crust" then papertoweled gently to give the smooth or favorite texture of the paper towel to the cake. Gumpaste flowers are readymade. String of pearls is cut and placed on cake at the top of each swag with tweezers. Cake top is from parents original wedding.

High School 30Th Class Reunion
This cake was inspired by a cake and from a class with Colette Peters. I had to pack my cake pans; fillings; shortening; and gum paste, not to mention I carried the fondant (20#'s) through the air terminal to make my connecting flight. I baked, filled and frosted the cake at one friend's home and then we transported it to another friends home to cover it with fondant and get it decorated. I tried to keep it simple due to wanting to participate in all the activities of the weekend reunion. Go Gators~!
