This cake was for my grandmothers birthday, she loves to play slots. I thru this together in about a half of an hour but it turned out okay considering. Used funfetti cake and buttercream icing.
I made this for a friend of mine, we play texas holdem' almost every week and she loves to go all in. She doesn't have the greatest luck getting good hands so I thought I would help her out. This is fun fetti cake with buttercream icing. Turned out very good. Cards around edges are just a miniature deck of cards strung out around cake.
Butter cake, buttercream icing, crushed grahm crackers for sand. Used real seashells, couldn't find a mold to make candied in time. Would have had to order and wouldn't have got in time. It was a birthday cake for my mom, uncle and aunt. They have their party together, sisters on same day, brothers bday two days before.

I made a st. pattys day cake in cake class, it was a three layer but I didn't get any pics after assebling the entire cake so this is a pic of the top two layers.
This is my first 3 tiered cake, I made it for my daughters 16th b-day and it was a practice run for a wedding cake I had to do the following week. It is butter cake with buttercream icing. Transporting was a nightmare, had cracks etc. but I learned from my mistake, assemble after you arrive not before :)
This cake was made for my daughter who loves celebrity death match. I made the figures out of a mixure of icing I kinda made up, it all kept falling apart but the teens seemed to love it. It was the intimidator vs. the biotch. My daughter vs. a rival lol. Butter cake, buttercream icing, licorice *sp* wrestling ring.
This cake isn't quite finished yet but this is my first cake order and my first cake for a lot of people to see, I am very nervous!! It is red white and blue inside also, I did it in three layers with vanilla custard pudding and 3 colors of layered cake. It is decorated with Buttercream icing. I will be posting the finished picture when I figure out what I am doing with it to finish it. :)
Buttercream icing, rasberry filling. Icing turned out to soft to do what I wanted with it but I was still winging it with this cake, never had anyone show me or tell me how to do it. Just read the back of a book. It was very tasty though.
Made sand with crushed graham crackers, made towels, sandals, etc. from Fondant, also made cupcakes to go with cake with waves, sand, toothpick umbrella and fondant slippers. Never took class or anything up to this point, just read book and winged it. She was really happy.
