This was a birthday cake for a friend. The cake is covered in fondant (MMF). The roses are also fondant as is the initial K. The little balls around the bottom are fondant rolled into ball shapes by hand.

This cake was a going away party cake for a friend leaving to work on a cruise ship for an extended period of time. The beach is crushed vanilla sandwich cookies with the filling removed. The palms and other beach acessories are gumpaste and the boat is a little wooden toy.
