Damask roses, peonies, succulents, snap dragons, wax flower, astilbe and seeded eucalyptus top this four tier wedding cake created for a former Pink Cake Box intern (and friend). Modern lines, eclectic flowers and an abstracted swath using 24k gold leaf give it the impact necessary for a young, hip event.
We did this for an online collaboration. The theme was "fantasy." The cake features a fairy tree house inhabited by tiny, winged bunnies. The floating flora piece that wraps around was created using an armature and hand made sugar blossoms and leaves. Everything shown is gum paste and fondant. It was a challenge! But so much fun!

Ok, so it's not all Black and White, but that was the theme of this design -- classic black and white comic book pages. We hand painted all four sides of the bottom tier, making this my favorite cake all month!
This unique topsy turvy wedding cake is themed after Tim Burtonâs The Corpse Bride. It has alternating tiers of white cake with hazelnut and chocolate ganache and red velvet with raspberry chambord and white chocolate ganache.
This 3-tier Topsy Turvy white cake with Oreos and cream filling was created for a party celebrating my grandmothers 90th birthday (Nana), my great uncles 90th birthday (Uncle Joe) and my cousins 30th birthday (Emily). My family asked me if I had been drinking when I made this one.Its supposed to be topsy turvy! The cake was covered in fondant, and decorated with a sugar paste bow and stars. This two-tier gift box cake was for a Surprise 30th Birthday party a mom threw for her daughter. The theme of the party was a Mexican fiesta-ish party. We decided not to go Mexican for the cake - but festive indeed! It is white cake with Oreos and Cream Buttercream, covered in vanilla buttercream and rolled fondant. I threw in a few sugar cookies decorated in the same color for a little more fun!
A client asked me to create an interpretation of Van Goghs Starry Night on a cake for her daughters baby shower. She asked me to incorporate some pink in with the blue since they werent sure of the sex of the baby. I made this baby block cake for my sister-in-laws baby shower. Im going to have a handsome little nephew soon and Im very excited. While I was making it, I actually wished he could see the cakeI guess hell be able to eat some of it though!
