Gumpast/fondant Class- Bassinet Cake
This is my final cake for my Wilton Gumpaste Fondant class. The instructions tell you to make a "hood" for the bassinet but I used to top to the box you make in the final class. it is much prettier and softer. I had to trim it quite a bit in order for it to fit in my cake carrier to take the cake home. It would look much better if you used the entire top and tranported the cake in a cake box.

60Th Wedding Anniversary Cake
This isn't a very clear picture. I made this for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. It is a yellow cake with stawberry filling. White Buttercream covered in fondant. Chocolate Diamond (diamond annivesary) with the date on thechococlate cut out. I made a square and turned it sideways to make the diamonds. Then used buttercream to write words on all layers. Love, Devotion, etc.

Boy Baptism Cake
I did this for my friend's son's baptism. LOTS OF CAKE. I tried a crusting cream cheese icing for the 1st time and guess what? It didn't crust. So, I rean to the store and bought a box of fondant and rolled it out to cover the NON crusting icing and threw the roses on it and some sparkles and out the door I went. The cake was white cake with a fresh strawberry filling. Very yummy just a lot of hair pulled out.
