Military Birthday Cake
This was for my nephew. Got ideas from CC. I decorated this in record time. (roughly 45 min. icing colors and cake were already made ahead.) I was rushed with other commitments the same day. All BC icing, pretzels and military toys were added. This kids loved it and were fighting over the pretzels!

Youth Football Banquet Cakes
I donated these cakes to my 7 year olds football banquet. They never lost a game! It took me a while but it was so worth it since the coaches donated some much of their free time and flipped the bill for the banquet. All BC icing. Used the bell I rang for the topper. Used all the kids #'s on the cake and dedicated one of the cakes for all the coaches. Team photo I placed between the pillars. Everyone was raving about it and it tasted good too!!!!!

"old" Nintendo Cake
This one was a challenge! The b-day boy wanted screen shots of his favorate games. (4 of them) and wanted the Nintendo hand held paddle. (I'm not sure what you call it.) Anyway, I had fun making it since I grew up with these games and played the "old" Nintendo. I was surprised that kids still like to play the old games. It was Choc. cake w/BC icing. Since I didn't want to spend hours to make each screen shot, I chose certain areas of the game to try to keep it simple. The teenagers loved the cake!

Hot Wheels Birthday Cake
This cake is all white, w/BC icining & crushed graham crackers for "dirt". My directions was only Hot Wheels theme no other specifics. Always wanting to do something different, I thought of the idea of a car jumping over a pond of alligators. (The b-day boy loves alligators.) So I placed a plastic bowl in the cake w/colored water and placed 2 plastic alligators in it. I also used plastic Hot Wheels race track. The kids loved the "water" in the cake! Again another HUGE hit at the party!

Pirates Of The Caribbean Black Pearl Ship
We are HUGE fans of POTC and my son wanted the POTC theme for his 7th b-day. I was a little nervous at first but the cake was quite easy and fast to make. The chain and anchor is made out of tootsi rolls. The cake is White & Choc. with butter cream icing. The skelton hand is plastic and the gold coins are choc. The cake was BIG hit at the party and tasted yummy too!!!!

Colts Afc Championship Cake
This was a Chocolate Kalua Cake I made for the tailgate party last Sunday. I used a staduim pan that I received as a Christmas gift. I'm not a big fan of these ornamental pans because you can't ice them very well since you loose the detail. My kids helped me put on the mini M&M's to look like fans. The cake brought good luck since the Colts did win! I will have to make another cake for the Super Bow-- hopefully they will win it tool!!! My fellow Colt's fans loved the cake and it tasted deliciou

Kindergarten Cake
This cake was for my son's graduation. It is BC except for the top of the had (fondant). The bottom layer has all the kids first name around it. the 2nd layer I wrote Aa, Bb, Cc etc. and wrote 2 math problems. (My son gave me the math problems to put on the cake.) Everyone loved the cake and a lot of the kids posed next to it with their name showing.

1St Wedding Cake
This was my first wedding cake for a friend of a friend. I also made two full sheet cakes to go along with it. It is in BC with artificial flowers. I hardly charged her anything for it. Even though it was simple it was very time consuming. Next wedding cake with be triple the price!

Curious George
I love this web site! I was looking through the forums and came across a topic making 3D figures out of rice crispy treats. I tried it on this cake with the monkey and the hat. It was fast and easy! Everthing else is BC. The cake was a huge hit at the party! I will be using this technique a lot more. I will need to stock up on rice crispy's!!
