3-D Chess Game
This was my son's 10th birthday cake. He LOVED IT. Actually, he designed it and left it up to me to build it! LOL...All buttercream, each layer is a different flavor with filling, and the chees boards are fondant and the wrap around the outside it nothing more than ribbon. I have made it since for a groom's cake.

THis is a "crazy monkey" cake for a monkey themed party. the monkeys are fondnt, the trees are pretzels with fondant leaves and Whoppers candie for coconuts. Jute rope for the line...All very easy to assemble. THe cake ITSELF was the hit...Top was Vanilla with cherry filling, middle was banana spice with banana cream filling, bottom was choc cake with rasberry filling. Put it all together....? Banana split cake! For the little monkeys at the party! We also served banana splits along with it.

Pirate Ship
THis is the 3-D pirate ship that I came up with by using 3 or 4 photos from this site and using a technique or item from each. I had a lot of fun making this cake! I think I should have added the rope for the back of the cake too...but ran out of time for accessorizing...had to deliver! thanks for looking!

Under The Sea
This cake was a special order from a client...she sent me a pic and asked could I do it, and I said yes. I did almost exactly what the pic looked like, fondant creatures, buttercream icing. I would have added some kelp and "waves" for the borders, but I did not want to vary from the pic she sent...so I did not. I think I will do it again and do it the way that I would have and see how it turns out....thanks for looking!
