I made the dress out of two 8" rounds and a 6"round. I'm not a fan of the wondermold (I can never bake it right-- always burnt on outside and gooey on the inside).
This is a 1st anniversary reproduction of the top tier from their wedding cake.
Buttercream roses and leaves with scrolls on the side of the cake.
Brush embroidery on buttercream.
Airbrush really helps bring life to the pansies. I'm not a fan of the colors.
This cake was to match a party napkin. The unicorns are a buttercream transfer. The background is airbrush and freehand drawing.
Freehand drawing of my daughter's favorite toy pony.
I Airbrushed circles of color on a freshly iced cake, then drug a small spatula from the center to blend the colors. I then respray the center to give its color back. Using primary colors is best, otherwise you may end up with brown tye-dye.
Made this cake at work for a 3rd birthday.
Made this for my daughter's halloween birthday party, she dressed as Daphne from Scooby Doo.
