Corporate Cake
I did a cake once a month for a company and everyone celebrating in that month would be listed on it. They would get it on the last Friday of the month. I have recently been the victim of their downsizing - cake is an easy thing to cut...bad pun I know. I really enjoyed doing these and coming up with a unique, aptly-made theme for each month.

Going Bananas...
This cake was for my son's first birthday. He LOVES bananas and he's a little monkey so that was the inspiration. There are about 200 hand painted fondant bananas on this cake. I used the wondermold on top of an 8" (I think) cake. Grass tip on the bottom and fondant monkey on top. Of course it was bananas chocolate chip cake with banana cream filling inside. It was very cute when Jack tried to peel the tiny bananas.

Bookworm
Stacked books cake for a retiring librarian. The bookworm is fondant and so are the book covers. Each book had a title on the spine of her hobbies i.e. The Joy of Gardening. I would leave the book covers out to dry for longer next time, I didn't like how they "wilted". Original design by Debbie Brown.
