I made the tassel by pressing fondant through my garlic press then topping with small beads & a fondant rose. The garlic press worked fabulously!

Cake For My Daughters' Birthday Party

I used the napkins they chose for the cake idea. Cake turned out great till my youngest son decided it needed some aeration and so poked several little finger holes and pulled down on the ears! He also thought the mouth needed some rearranging so that had to be re-done, as well.

Pillow Cake

This is a pillow cake I did for a baby's first birthday. The whole thing is brushed with pearl & luster dusts. Some colors I mixed together, some not. The colors were pale pinks, golds, & creams though the colors don't show up exactly true in the pictures.

3-D Teapot Cake

Horrible photo of a cake I did years ago. THe color in the photo just is way off. The colors were beautiful pastels, very english garden looking. This was my first attempt at fondant. The teacup & petitfours are also cake/fondant. The handle broke just before the party so I had to piece it together as best I could. I used the Wilton gum paste kit for the flowers. LOTS of fun!!

This is Hogwarts for my 2 boys' Harry Potter Bday party! I HATED this cake!!!! But everyone else loved it. I still have people who talk about this cake. The party was awesome, though! I was just very very disappointed in this cake. Ugh!! I used the Harry Potter cake color set and the colors really just didn't turn out as I wanted.
