I made this cake based on one that was posted here on CC, sorry I can't remember the members name right now but I made it exactly as she posted it because I was in an extreme time crunch and did have time to be creative. I made this cake for a baby boys first birthday. This was the theme of the party so I had my DH design this cake using a napkin I was given by the mother. DH was really excited to his his desgin come to life, I let him design it since he is all about sports. I was happy with the result and so was the mother and everyone at the party. The cake was the talk of the party. I used the Wilton's sports chocolate mold for the balls.
This is a 12" covered in MMF. I used the Wilton number pans for the 13 and covered it with grey MMF then I painted it with silver sparkle dust.
The purse is carved and covered with MMF and the decorations are chocolate, MMF, and printed images.
I used the wilton Elmo face pan for this cake. I made 2 of them then filled and stacked them, then I crumb coated and covered them with fondant to kind of hold it all together , then I used tip 233 to make the fur.
I made this cake for my nieces party at " Go Bananas" after seeing the cake "bmote1" made . I thought it was so apprpriate for the theme of the party I had to make it. The party is today, I hope they like it.. Thanks bmote1, I hope you don't mind that I used your idea.

This is a CCC I made for a customer. Next time I know better to limit the amout of colors or charge extra for this type of detail. This took me about 3 hours to decorate, that's including mixing colors. I hope they like it.

This cake was ordered for a boys golden b-day. They said they wanted white and as close to gold as I could get, they did not want a theme although I wish they would have because I was at a loss on how to decorate it. I like the way they cut out came out but there was not much I could do with one color for a boy. It is cut from a half sheet and frosted with whipped cream and filled with fresh strawberries. Please give your honest opinions, I am not 100% satisfied with this cake. Does it look worth $60?
