Fondant letters, lavender and white
Four tier, all white, buttercream roses
Cake for an 80 year old's birthday luau! Flowers are silk, provided by the lady who ordered the cake. First three tier cake I ever did, it was very scary!
11x15, copied picture from a coloring page
16th birthday cake, she wanted stars, three tiers are 8", 6", and a little pyrex ramekin.
this is 2 9x13's, one is cut to make the top two presents. I enjoyed making this cake!
This was my attempt at a monogram, I was a little afraid of it. : )
This was for a little girl who did not like icing! I did put a little string on the side to attach m&m's and cover up the seam between the cakes, there was no icing between the layers. The candy on top was also attached with icing. This cake almost stumped me!
Made this from an 11x15 and a coloring book page.
fun lingerie cake, 9x13 white on white
First royal icing experience. I liked it but the flowers started absorbing color from the cake, is that normal? The birthday girl loved it.
Cake for a 5 year old nascar fanatic, car is pound cake, carved out.
I was given a picture of a real dog and tried to copy him the best I could. I kind of made it up as I went, his front legs were paper towel rolls, I was told that he was lying down before they ate him but that it looked very natural. I guess he got tired! : )
Birthday for my niece who was turning one. 12" round, flowers, flowers, flowers!
I was given a picture of a guitar and asked to make it. I used the guitar pan and tried my best to blend the colors, It probably would have looked so much better with an airbrush!
This was for the youth group of a local church, they wanted a big dog tag. The chain was a choke chain (new of course) and I just shaved the corners off of a 9x13.
This was for our church's five year anniversary. It was 3 11x15's and 2 9x13's. The plaque was fondant painted with gel color.
This was off of the invitation, I had a problem with my blue coloring, it was polka dotted and the buttercream cracked. Good thing it was a donated cake, but I still felt awful. She didn't even notice of course!
Another stroller, copied from a napkin, she brought me all the little plastic things to stick on the cake, I thought the stroller design was so cute.
My first Tiara! I tried the royal icing first with disastrous results! Took me all day and then I did this chocolate one in about 15 minutes...lesson learned! Next time I will work on making it smoother and probably use white chocolate, but this was good practice.
My husband calls this the chihuahua and bunny cake, I think I agree with him! Both were the stand up lamb, all buttercream
This was the first camo I ever attempted, I didn't know what I was starting, I should have known living in Alabama!
Camoflauge cake for a big hunter, his wife just wanted it plain, all buttercream.
Copied off of the invitation, thought it turned out pretty cute
