My first attempt at a frill/ruffle cake. Learned a little for the next time, but overall I was happy with the results. I love this style, it just makes for a simple, elegant look!
For a going away party for the owners of a pizza shop. A lot of fun to make! All the toppings were fondant except the cheese, which was grated vanilla candy melt.

For a summer theme birthday. It was 10 inches round, top half was cake, bottom half a cake dummy carved down. Matching up the fondant strips to line up while following the curve of the ball was a little bit of a challenge, but all in all, I was happy with the results! TFL

This cake was actually for a renewal ceremony held at a nursing home for all the married couples living there. I tried to give it a vintage feel so it fit in with their classic black and white theme 6-8-10, buttercream with fondant band and roses. TFL
