This cake was inspired by Chica07's lovely cake. I made it for my Mom for her birthday and she just loved it. The flowers were an after thought. If I could have done it differently I would have done a different ribbon. It's a 6 inch devil's food torted cake with hazelnut buttercream frosting covered in ganache with the piroutte hazelnut cookies around it. It's a great cake to make for a birthday, or a special co-worker. Thanks for looking.
