2 layer chocolate cake with chocolate mint chip mousse, was for a cancer charity auction, cake went for $46, I was very happy with the cake and the amount it was able to get for the charity!
A few things that I would change if I do this again, but, the bride was ecstatic and I guess that is all that matters!

When looking through my yearbooks, a friend asked me if I could make this cake for her daughters 1st bday, but, didn't want fondant.
Wanted to try something different, used candy to make the superman instead of BCI. I like the way it turned out, so did the birthday boy!
Last minute request, they didn't know what they wanted, so I asked for one of the napkins, this is what the result was

This cake was made to match the plates for the party. This took me forever, but, it was a blast!
This cake was made for to look like the pinata for the party with the gaps in the paper and all. The birthday girl loved it!
This is my first "shaped" cake. I have to admit, I LOVE the way it turned out. I don't know if there is ANYTHING that I would change about it. I can't wait for the birthday girl to see it!
This didn't turn out the way that I wanted it to... but, it gives me experience for later!!!
We did a caterpillar and butterfly theme for her... She got the "head" of the caterpillar for her "smash" cake, the rest was for the guests!
Made some MMF just to see how it was, then I had to have something to do with it! I have to admit, it was REALLY easy for me to work with, color and I like the taste, unlike fondant! I am really looking forward to using it again!!
