Log Cabin Cake
This was a cake I did for my mother-in-law's 50th birthday. We threw her a surprise party. I added all the things she likes. She has her own cabin with sign, her grandkids, and horses. I wanted to personalize it for her. All cakes are fondant with sponging in royal icing. All figures are out of fondant.

Merry Christmas Charlie Brown
This is a gingerbread house I did for a contest. The house is gingerbread covered in fondant. Charlie brown and Snoopy are sculpted out of gum paste. The snow is desiccated coconut. The Christmas lights are chocolate covered sunflower seed and the strings are black licorice. (Disclaimer: I do not own peanuts characters and this was not for sale or distribution.)

Red And White Bridal Shower Cake
This cake is decorated with buttercream frosting. The drapes are white chocolate fondant colored red. The roses are made out of modeling chocolate. The hearts are made of hard candy, boiled to hard crack, then cooled and piped into hearts. This was my first traditional style cake. I do mostly whimsical or sculpted cakes.

Mad Hatter Bridal Shower
This cake was for a Mad Hatter themed tea party bridal shower. I agreed to help some friends with it. They came over with the cakes already baked. It took 5 of us 5 hours to stack and decorate the cake. Everything is covered in fondant and all electric colors are used. The top tier is an upside down tea cup to complete the theme.

Sand Castle Cake
This cake was for my niece's first birthday. I made a two tier sand castle with matching smash cake just for her. The shells and doors are chocolate. The towers and stairs are rice crispy treats covered with fondant. The turrets are sugar cones and waffle cones also covered in fondant.
