This is a cake version of a rubber duck model supplied for a childs birthday. The hat is hand formed from gumpaste and what you see is entirely edible. A labor of love for a VERY special Little Princess.

3 different cakes with 3 different fillings and coverings.....Using both edible and non edible ingredients....all of the flowers are edible.....recieved oohs and ahhs with just the baby booty cake and flowers sprays on the table before setup....Since it was a friends event....I actually got to see the reaction when they saw the display.....It was a big hit and no leftovers!
Have no clue what they used it for....Was asked for a poodle in 3D.....and this is what I came up with...is a vanilla white with a whipped white choc ganache filling and fluffy white thru a grass tip for the fur. Head is rice crispy treats covered in gumpaste.

What do you do when your girlfriend is allergic to flowers?....You make them BEAUTIFUL in gumpaste and dust them to appear as fire and ice roses. I did tell her if she gets mad or tired of me or them....she can eat them. She liked them thankfully!
I had to match a photo of a quad for a childs birthday. NO rice crispy treats were used in this one...all gumpaste and choco pan....hand painted....I am told it was a hit and nothing left over....all in 8 hours total including baking time.
This is Joe the baby Dragon in his egg....My favorite medium...Rice Crispy treats....he is the size of a wine bottle....the cake will be made to resemble a nest....just could not resist sharing him. I think he came out pretty cool!
This by far is my WEIRDEST request....a Kosher cake for a passover celebration. Thankfully a friend in Galilee Isarael shared some of his wifes recipes (which I tweeked a bit)...this is a honey-chocolate almond pound cake shaped to look like a Red Snapper on a square cake of same flavor.
This is a childs birthday cake....You cant have a monster truck without the school bus!...The tires are my favorite medium to work in RICE CRISPY TREATS!...all but the axles between the tires are edible pieces....even the grass is edible updated 3/27
I didn't like the size of the horse in relation to the carriage....So I redid it...Notice the quarter near the head to show detail and size.
A last minute cake after baker backed out..The customer was told wednesday evening (the event is sunday).....this was a quick cake to cover the event. A 4 layer French vanilla butter yellow with buttercream filling. Covered in choco-pan. The butterflies are gumpaste and colored to appear as stained glass....Hope you like it..the mother of the bride loved it.
In case you don't follow football....these are the two teams that will be playing in the superbowl......as close as I can get to the football helmets in carved cake.....just a slightly larger then a cupcake size.
This was a challenge to accomplish.......it was a free standing edible element of a superbowl display.....it is covered in edible silver. and gumpaste.....I think it turned out pretty cool!
This is a rice crispy treat horse strengthened with some wood skewers.Covered in gumpaste, molded then hand painted to match a grey/ash patch (since most white horses aren't truly white)....this is the first of 4 horses.
This is the start of a cinderella style carriage.Made of gumpaste and covered in royal icing and adorned with 22K gold and .998 sterling silver....I will replace this photo with the completed version when I finally get it done...but, I liked the outcome thus far....so much that I wanted to share it....Updated 2/8
Here is the full band display. Edible bagpipes,Fafnir the Dragon,Bass drum,and Pipeys cake....The dragon guards the display. All pieces are edible....Total of about 60 hours in the piece
This is a french vanilla butter cake with a white chocolate mousse filling......dressed in chocopan on the side airbrushed black to appear as a bass drum for a band I play with....the image is a edible image transferred to a whipped chantilly cream icing....part of a display for the band I play with...goes with the bagpipes and dragon.
My Favorite medium...Rice crispy treats covered in gumpaste...then placed into a cake to appear as a full set of highland bagpipes,gumpaste had simulated woodgraining,,,,part of a display for my band party.
Just a quick piece for a co worker for his birthday...since he owns the same car..This complimented the cake I carved to look like a wrench (he is a mechanic)
For a party of 60. Each Cake is a White Chocolate Mousse cake with Dark Choco Ganache, Raspberry reduction and Buttercream, covered in Choco Pan.White Choco Cameo on top wrapped in ribbon on my own cupcake stand! Customer Loved it. (We will NEVER do this piece again!)
After I saw the cost of the cupcake stands at the SIGEP show...I priced plexiglass....and made this stand for under $50.00....it is 3 tiers seperated by clear plexi glass rods that are drilled,tapped and bolted with stainless steel grade 5 bolts. It will hold roughly 50 cupcakes. this stand was designed for a single event to showcase 75 oval shaped mini cakes for a breast cancer event. It will be paired with one additional stand. The lettering is traditional 22K gold leaf.

Sorry a little fuzzy....it was drying after airbrushing.....this is a copy of a Sea King Helicopter prior to unmasking after airbrushing. The rotors really turn and the cake that was under it had L.E.D. blinking landing lights (it was a helicopter landing pad pattern)......The cake was for a pilot....and he was Impressed....sooooooo I guess I got it right.
Gumpaste over Rice Crispy treats (my favorite molding media)....this is his head drying after airbrushing...the finished model will have splayed wings (they are drying uncolored for now)....I will post the updated when he is assembled.
