Graduation cake for my baby bro. First time using Michelle Foster's fondant and I love it! I was purposely going for the "drawn" look to it, and I am very happy with how it turned out.

This is the cake that almost wasn't. I posted on how my oven had broken and I was going to have to rely on store bought cake. So its store bough vanilla sponge layers with lemon filling. Van BC and cookie crumb sand. MMF with gold lustre dust pyramids. I know the ruffle border is horrible but I had a 3 year old constantly touching stuff and I was always stop starting. Plus I don't have a turn table over here. Not my favourite cake but she will like it.
The birthday cake for one of my friends. We were joking around one day about how cool it would be to have a tea party for one of our birthday's. So thats what she is getting. The table is chocolate cake with van BC and MMF. The seats are coconut sour cream cupcakes with MMF cushions. I had a good time making this and i know she will see the humour behind it
Very last minute cake. It is for one of the girls i babysit and that the kids i take care of play with. We were over today and the mum asked if i could bake and deco a cake for her daughters birthday tomorrow. When I asked what she liked i was told buttercups and pink. So thats what she got. Yellow layer cake with strawberry filling and vanilla BC
The top and bottom tiers are chocolate. The middle is a white cake. Iced in vanilla BC and covered in MMF. The satin ribbon and flowers were supplied by the bride.

It looks the same as a cake i've done before. I'm just trying to perfect the cake, and try different techniques before doing my friend's wedding cake. First time using crusting BC and I hate it!! I cannot get it to smooth...
Orange cake, with orange butter cream.
I made this for a former teacher who has just gotten engaged. She almost in tears when I delivered it. The MMF went on with out a problem. The calla lillies look a little funny since I only let them dry for 4 hours, so they kind of "wilted" on me. DS placed the pearls, and used them all up. 4 hours worth of pearls!!! Arrgggg. Anyways, when all was said and done the cake took 5 hours, including the baking of a second top tier (since the first one crumbled!)
Thanks KHalstead for letting me use your idea. I wish I could have done it more justice. If you can't see the gigantic cracks (which is doubtful) they cover the whole pot. The MMF all but crumbled when i was putting it on the cake and smoothing it out. I do like the flowers though. Let's just hope that my cousin doesn't notice the pot. If she does I just might say that its supposed to look antiqued. lol
I was bored, so I baked and decorated for no reason. Chocolate cake with choc BC and BC flowers. Could be better, but I wasn't aiming for perfection. First attempt at the middle boarder, but I won't do that one again.
Made from left over batter, for my mom's friend. she was jeleous that we got cake and she didn't. All buttercream, with wilton sparkle dust.
