Josh's Sneaker
This cake was for my BFF's son. She had order him a pair of Quiksilver sneakers and I used them to make the cake (size 14 shoe). This was my first attempt at carving a shoe, and I have admire anyone who does this more than once!! I need to do another one for practice :-). Anyway, tfl . . .

Cookie Monster
This cake was for my 28yo son, but thought I would design it for his two sons (my grandsons) rather than him (is that bad?). Anyway, I have to say thanks to Spills for allowing me to copy her cake. Thanks again, Spills. Cinnamon cake with buttercream icing. Used ball mold for head, and wonder mold for body. TFL

Pam's Surprise Birthday Cake
This cake was for my BFF's surprise birthday party. I got LOTS of inspiration from members on this website, but in particular I would like to thank katieskakes81 for my design idea. Everything was edible. I learned quite a lot about "structural integrity" :-) !! Anyway, four 10" layers carved. Chocolate cake, bc icing, fondant boards and isomalt beer bottles and ice. TFL

Hannah Montana
This cake was for my granddaughter's 7th BD. It turned out much better than I expected and the BD girl was happy with it! I have to thank mrs_planeflyer for her inspiration and all her help! Her Hannah Montana cake is MUCH better than mine, but that's okay!! I really appreciate the members of this website sharing their photos, instructions, advice and consoling! Thanks for looking! Forgot to mention, the CD's are edible images on top of fondant.

Baby Converse Cake (Front View)
Chocolate, strawberry and white cake with b/c icing and fondant accents and shoes. Thanks to stellastarchild for posting her template of the baby Converse shoes. I had so much fun making them! They were originally going on top of a 6â round, but the customer called at the last minute and asked for a larger tiered cake. They look too small for the top of this cake, but I was really please how they turned out. Thanks for looking!

Deedle's 60Th Birthday
Okay . . . this was a first for me. The customer wanted a German Chocolate Cake and that was all. But I just can't bring myself to do a plain cake without any decorations. So this is what she is getting!! It is for a lady in her Bible study class who is turning 60. The icing is the Butter Pecan Icing that was tinted dark brown. Fondant drape and leaves, buttercream grass. Thanks for looking!
