Dominic's Duffle Bag
Been wanting to do a duffle bag since seeing the YouTube post on it. All in fondant, Rice Krispie baseball and hockey puck. Lots of fun to do - honestly the bag was easier than the soccer ball and the lines on the baseball - I was tired and "done" by the time I did the baseball - it could have been a bit neater, but it was for my godson, not for a "paying" customer LOL! So I did slack off a bit. Still happy with it. Everyone got a kick out of the dirty sock and towel :D

Cake Truffle Petit Fours
I'm too impatient to roll the little cake balls (and I like them small so even my small ice cream scoop is a bit big for me), so I rolled it between parchment, then froze it and cut them up - can't wait to try it when I have more time and I'm not rushing - these would be great cut out with cookie cutters and yopu could just smoosh the excess back to gether and roll out again!

Lightning Mcqueen
Buttercream Dream and eduble images. chocolate writing for the Happy Birthday brushed with Super Pearl. I photoshopped the birthday boy's name into the Cars logo. Before I had the race track and "spectators" on the cake, I knew there just wasn't "enough". I showed it to my 5 year old and said there was something missing, he said "The road" DUH! Added them in and it really finished off the cake.

Tyler's Teammate
Carved cake, covered in fondant, gloves, stick and sheild on the helmet are not edible. The copper pipe center support was a "Doug Design" - thank you very much Doug! Edible images on the shirt, rice krispie arms. I do want to make it one more time someday now that I know what I'm doing (well, sort of!) Party was Saturday, as of Thursday night I thought I was going to have to scrap the whole thing and do something else. But it worked out, kids loved it!

Brian's Brews
Okay - I admit it. This is probably one of the coolest cakes I have ever done. I am so very pleased with it. Airbrushed the bucket with my Preval sprayer (used at my own risk LOL!) and LOVE how it came out!!! Bottles and ice are made from sugar and I NEVER could have done it with out DianeLM tips - THANK YOU SO MUCH! They have edible images for the labels which I designed (again thanks to some of you CCer's for inspiration!) Bartender thought it was really a bucket of beer!

Stephen's Gingerbread House
I made 16 mini gingerbread houses for my son's pre-K to decorate in class - BIG thank you to TiffTurtle for her tips and recipes, I used antonia's icing like she said as well. I am NOT a cookie person, but I loved working with the gingerbread!!! I admit I cheated a bit and used chocolate graham crackers for the roofs. I had to go out of town the day before STARTED baking at 11:00pm and had to have them all assembled and in school by 9:00am, so I had to cut down the baking time.

Gabrielle's Gifts
This goes with the Gabrielle's Gown Shower cake. Styrofoam dummies, the small cake with the RI snowflakes was real for them to cut. Fondant bows and holly leaves and berries, RI snowflakes and holly design on side of cake. Used a cookie cutter to make the quilting, RI dots in between. I made 2 double 12x18 sheet cakes and a double 10x10 for them to serve. The staff did a great job of keeping the secret of the dummy cakes!

Grandparent's Golden Anniversary
Waaay back in the day - in college for my grandparents 50th. Buttercream roses, gold foil leaves, gold plastic 50th in the center of bottom tier, all buttercream - and probably some version of Wilton Buttercream at that!! Still it came out very pretty, I must have stacked it there, but I don't even remember. You can see me working on it in one of the photos LOL! I so wish I had a better photo, because I think it was really quite good.
