I made this cake for my son's 5th Birthday. Bottom is 8 in round, top is 6 in round and pirahna plant is cut styro foam ball on a wooden dowel. Everything is covered in fondant and all decorations are fonadnt. I made the pirahna plant early and had it sitting in some styrofoam. It was fine all night long and then the morning I was decorating the rest of the cake it tipped over and the teeth and lips fell off! I was able to repair it but the lips ended up a little bit cracked in the corners. Oh well, I am still thrilled with how it turned out.
Made this for a 50th birthday. The whole thing is piped with a #2 round tip. This was killer on hands, they hurt for like 3 days afterwards. The flowers are gumpaste, the seashells are chocolate and the trees & hula dancers are plastic. The top tier is lemon cake with raspberry filling, the middle was strawberry cake with strawberry filling and the bottom tier was chocolate with buttercream filling. Made to look like a cake my friend had seen online.

Made this for my nephew's birthday. WASC cake with chocolate ganache covered in fondant. Seemed like an easy cake to do but the Autobot symbol and the Transformers letters were a pain in the butt to cut out. My SIL put a store bought Transformer on the top of the cake.

I made this cake for my husbands birthday. The topper looks like a doll he has had since he was 3 years old (he just turned 34). My husband picked out the flavors, chocolate stout cake, no bake cheesecake for filling and chocolate cream cheese frosting (soooo good!).
My husband has this doll "Joey" that he has had since he was 3 years old. Well tomorrow is his birthday and this Saturday I am having a party for him. When I asked him what he wanted his cake to look like he said "make me a topper that looks like Joey". So here is my sugar version of "Joey". I just love how he turned out.
