Flowers And Bugs B-Day Cake
Snickerdoodle cake with cream cheese icing. Flowers, lady bugs and bees made of fondant. I tried something new this time where I piped the lettering ahead of time in royal icing and then set those on the cake. I'm horrible with piping words directly on the cake. I definitely like this way better. Still need practice. Thanks for looking

Pirates Of The Caribbean
This was for a Pirates of the Caribbean themed party. The treasure map has a symbol from each movie. The sides of the cake are made to look like wood or the side of a ship. Then we have the water at the bottom and Davy Jones' tenticles coming up over the "boat". Hope you enjoy.

Square- 6" Tall Tiers
This bride was very "interesting". The bottom tier is fake. The top two tiers are 2 inches of stryofoam with 4 inches of cake on top to acheive 6 inch tall tiers. It was a lemon cake with raspberry filling. Buttercream icing with ribbon around the bottoms for trim. The roses are made of fondant and the leaves are tootsie rolls.

Simple Wedding Cake
This is just a simple 12, 9, 6 wedding cake. Last time I did a ribbon I pinned it on with pretty pins in the back of the cake but that was for a friend. i didn't want to take a chance since this was a paying customer that someone might get hurt. So I used royal icing to attach the ribbon and some soaked through. Oh well, I'll know better next time. :o) Better butterscotch cake with buttercream icing.

Baby Shower- Clothes Line
I have to say this is one of my favorites I've done so far, for many reasons. First off, my husband helped with a lot of this. He helped color the fondant and cut out shapes. He made the buttons and the wood posts. Second, of all I love the colors of this cake. They are just so vibrant (which is due to my husband's wonderful kneading abilities). Last of all, it was fun to make! This is my better butterscotch cake with Satin Ice Fondant for all the decorations. I hope you enjoy!

Make A Wish Quinceaneara
This was for a girl that had bone cancer. She was only turning 13 but the Make a Wish Foundation threw her a Quinceanera early. The color and design were to match the color and design on her dress. Cake is done with buttercream luster dusted with pearl. The piping is with royal icing. The ribbon roses and butterfly are made out of gumpaste.

Mod Mom Baby Shower Cake
This is a baby shower cake to semi-echo the theme of Mod Mom. The lady whom this baby shower was for was not very "girly" and wanted something modern. Plus her baby's room was decorated with circles (which I didn't know when I designed the cake...lol). All decorations and the borders are MMF. I loved doing such a colorful cake! :)

Penguin Scene
I made this cake for my dad real quick in one night, so it's a little sloppy. However, it was a lot of fun. The front 2 penquins are sliding. The 2 on the right-hand side in front of the igloo are a father and daugher (to represent us) and then there are 5 penquins on the left sige of the igloo that are playing king of the hill. Oh and the penguin in the back right hand corner was made by my husband.
