I was asked to do a baby shower cake in lavender, blue and white. I designed the cake and made all of the decorations out of fondant: the baby blocks, the bears, the train and even the drum kit. The daddy to be is a drummer and the mother wanted him to have something special to remember the birth of their first child!
This is a cake that I did for the interior Design Firm Envied By Design in Orlando Florida. When I set up the cake at their studio I added an initial "E" cake topper just behing the spider mum. That was in silver. The "E" mimicked the "E" used in their business cards.

This was my first attempt at a tiered cake so I kept the design simple. It was for my neice. The cake I covered in a white choc BC. The cake is yellow with a choc almand ganach...it was yummy. Hope you like it as I just started making cakes this Feb.
