Carousel Cake (Spinning)
The base cake is a super moist vanilla w/strawberry filling covered in fondant. The carousel is RKT covered in fondant, with molded chocolate horses. Hidden inside is a rotating base that made the carousel spin! That's why the #1 is not centered, i was trying to take a pic while it was moving ;) Also, a little popcorn smash cake, with marshmallow popcorn.

Cactus
Cactus cake made for a teacher appreciation luncheon on cinco de mayo. The pot is chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache filling, and the cactus is RKT. I used the buttercream dream icing recipe found on this site, royal icing for the spikes, and fondant flowers. My yummy sand is made from graham crackers, brown sugar, cinnamon, and "sugar in the raw".

Hen Party
This cake was for a conservative "Hen Party". The voluptuous hen is made of rice krispie treats and covered in fondant. She is also sporting a sugar pearl necklace. The cake is a moist and delicious pina colada cake, with a pineapple mango filling. Iced with Pastry Pride and covered in coconut.

Injured Car
This cake was actually placed on top of a 9x13 ice cream cake on site, but I don't have a picture of it. All fondant decorations. Was ordered for a girl who keeps wrecking her car. I love the bandaids! This is my first sculpted cake that I've covered in fondant. I really put my heart into it and next time will definitely quote what it is worth BEFORE I make the cake! First cake I have made for a stranger!

My First Wedding Cake, Five Tier 6,8,10,12,14"
I made this cake as my gift to the bride and groom and I am so happy with it. It is by far the biggest cake I have ever made, and my first stacked cake, complete with boards and dowels. It is covered with pastry pride whipped topping and the bottom of each tier is wrapped three times with Wilton pearl strands. The mother had given me very cheap fake roses (you know the kind, with fake dew drops!) and I refused to put them on the cake. I went and got these beautiful fresh roses instead. The bride was glad!

Track And Field Birthday
This is for my husband, the passionate Track and Cross Country coach. Devil's Food cake with Chocolate Buttercream. My very first attempt at a chocolate transfer for the track.(Thank you so much for the help Squirrelly Cakes!) Fondant grass, numbers and ribbon. Chocolate medal sprinkled with gold shimmer dust which I had never used before and could use some instruction. (I actually used the makeup compact mold-last minute idea) A very fun surprise for him!

Basketball Birthday Cake
I made this for my son's basketball themed birthday party. Thank you so much for the ideas, and especially Jacqui and Lisa for your help! After my son blew out the candles, my husband told him to pick up the basketball. He and his friends had a great time eating it with their hands!

Whimsical Ribbon Roses
Just playing around. I've been admiring all the whimsical cakes on this site and told my kids we just had to try it. These are just 6 inch chocolate cakes with some fondant accents. How do you guys get your roses to look so good? I'm sure there's an article on the site how to do it. I had to give the kids half of the icing to do their own cakes - Thus the crumbs.

Small And Sweet
A friend asked me to make something small for her to share with a friend for her birthday. So I made this 6 inch Butter Pecan cake filled with cheesecake pudding. They loved it. I had no idea that her favorite color was lavender, favorite flower was white daisies and butter pecan was her favorite cake flavor. Crazy!!!
