Mac & Me
I need to make a cake of Mac & Me. His eyes are human, but I don't know how to make his eyes.
I used one of those ready made bows (Wilton?) because I ran out of time-airbrushed it pink. I kept trying to match the fondant stripes to the bow color, but it wasn't working. So, I decided to airbrush the stripes the same color. When I put the longer stripes on, they were cracking. Live and learn...
Cake for a big fan of Guitar Hero. Those are suppose to be flames on the side, but it didn't look like it to me.
15 of our staff members participated in our version of "Biggest Loser". I didn't win...but, they did get this Oreo cookie cake when it was over.
This was for my daughter's boyfriend's grandfather birthday. He got a big kick out of it. I used the mini ball pans for her top.
This was for my daughters' boss' birthday. Buttercream with gumpaste flowers. I had so much trouble the the tip used for the border and top (kept clogging up!!!)
2 Peas In A Pod
This was for a baby shower. It is buttercream with fondant accents and also, airbrushed sides.
This Little Piggy...
This was made for our school resource officer (it was a joke-he loved it_. Big thanks to Peterlori1 for the directions.
Bunny Carrot Cake
This is from one of Debbie Brown's book. It was suppose to look like Bus Bunny, but it didn't happen. All fondant except Bugs- 50/50 gumpaste and fondant.
All fondant with the exception of the Owl, Panther and Pirate (school mascots from 3 different schools). I used their school colors-wasn't sure if that was going to work. First time making those ribbon roses.
