Colorflow technique for picture with buttercream icing, fondant curlies around base.
"Pineapple drink" is the 3D egg pan, top cut off. All is done with buttercream icing with bag striping technique.
This is the cake I made for my son's first birthday. He loved the rooster from Baby Einstein videos, so I used the 3D mini bear pan for the rooster, and just took the ears off the bear. The tail was created from fondant and placed with a dow rod; the rest is buttercream.
I made this blues clues cake with matching cupcakes for my nephew's 2nd birthday using the pattern of a coloring book for the color flow technique. I made the colorflow icing thicker than normal and used a toothpick to spread the colors around, giving the textured "fur" appearance.
