That was a joke for a couple of friends which name is "chicks" in french (so, it is "poussins") that's why there are chicks print in the sand ! Sand and sea are buttercream, fishes, turtle and shell are white chocolate, mats and bottle of Champaign are Marzipan.
My first 3D cake ! The wall is made with Host paper and chocolate, the 2 aries are marzipan and chocolate, the cake is a chocolate mousse and fruits on a biscuit. Sorry folks, for the moment, I can't translate you the joke on the wall, but I work on it !!!
a 30cm x 40cm, all hand made cake : butter cream and pastillage, biscuit + half "mousse au chocolat/orange flavour" + half red fruits mousse + biscuit with vanilla. I made it for a BB's first birthday
Great cake quite easy to make : a dacquoise is a thin cake with nuts and almonds powder . So a dacquoise, then a chocolate mousse, another dacquoise, a strawberries mousse and finally, a jelly cover (a strawberry one) And, small pieces of black chocolate, plus multicolored grains of sugar. Hummmm !!! So tasty !!! I have to make another one soon !!!
My second big birthday cake : I made a portrait with chocolate on "almond pasta" or pâte d'amandes. I spent 4 hours for decorating the cake which is 40cm x 60cm x 5cm
It was a real challenge ! But I think that is pretty good ... and so yummie with the chocolate "mousse" !!!
A present for a Titi fan's birthday. The 3D bird weights more than a kilo !!! The green and yellow parts are "de la crème au beurre" - butter cream I was so proud of it : the guests tought that I was a professionnal !!!
