My SIL's parents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Her sisters were planning the party and told my SIL to just, "Go to Costco and pick up a cake." She was beside herself and asked me to make the cake instead. I'm no professional, but I'd like to think a homemade cake was a little more thoughtful. My niece turned 13 and is officially boy-crazy. She wanted a b-day cake that said, "I love Noah" (her current crush). So, in my head I thought this cake would be cute. I wrote things like, "He loves me," and, "He loves me not" inside each flower. I should have made the insides of the flowers a darker color so they stood out more, though. If you squint you can imagine what I was trying to do! Thanks for looking.
