I "cake lifted" this idea from "CakeL8T". I am now getting more use out of my horseshoe pan!
I got this idea off of the CM site. The cake is decorated in BC with fondant accents. Turretts are icecream cones covered in fondant and glued together with royal icing.
This cake was made from a picture given to me from a customer. I used B/C/ icing as well as cookie icing for the eyes and the mouth to give it that shiny look. Thank you for looking!

This little girl was going to see the movie "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" for her birthday and wanted the cake to reflect the movie. TFL!
I was able to find a colouring page of Jesse and traced her on the cake. I used #13 Star tip and BC icing.
My daughter wanted a Bratz doll to resemble her. Since she has long hair and loves soccer, I used Cloe as my template. This was my daughter's second cake for the weekend! All buttercream and #13 tip used for the stars. For the lips, I used cookie icing to get the shiny effect and put edible glitter on her pants and hair. After the party I realized I forgot to put the line in for her nose!

This was one of my first cakes. I traced the photo from a colouring pae. I should really take a course in order to find some tricks and tips to make this move a little faster.
My first castle cake. I should have make the layers taller, I will know for next time. The flowers are fondant and I used coloured sugar on the pillars that were fixed with buttercream icing.

A friend's granddaughter is called their little monkey and she liked to listen to her iPod so she asked if I could combine the 2 in a cake. This is the second time using fondant so I am not sure if that is how you use it.

I traced a colouring page onto a flat iced cake. I fill the eyes with cookie icing so that it smothes itself out. The cake is chocolate with Buttercream icing.
