Beer In Cooler Cake
Here it is, I cant thank Trevie enough. Thanks for all of your help with the sugar bottles, it wouldnt have turned out as well without you. For this monstrous cake I used five 11 x 15 sheet cakes stacked. In between each layer I placed first a sheet of wax paper then a cake board to ensure that the cake was easy to cut and serve. Also, this way everyone had icing on top of his or her piece of cake. The cake is iced in BC, thought I thought it would look more realistic if done in fondant, but I just cant make people around here try the stuff. Beer bottles were made the day before the party and were made of sugar. Ice was made of isomalt (to prevent yellowish ice) Thanks for looking Cake board was covered in fondant then airbrushed and hand detailed to look like wood grain. A icing tip was used to make the nail heads that were then painted silver. Also a special thanks to Melissa at decoratethecake.com for your assistance. Labels were printed online. And figure was hadn sculpted to look like my dad playing his guitar.

Sculpted Jack-O'-Lantern Cake
5 10" round cakes were carved into a Jack-o'-lantern. I wanted his face to be skull like.. I think I got the effect. I covered the cake in fondant sculpted then airbrushed. (my second time airbrushing a cake)Butter cream witches brew with fondant bubbles that were airbrushed as well. With sugar flames around the base of the cauldron (cake stand) and tea lights to add to the flame effect

Peanutbutter Fudge Cake
Cake made for fathers day using the instruction found on: http://bakerella.blogspot.com/ : One exception I iced the cake with milk chocolate BC then topped with the ganache. I also used the ganache to fill the cake as the recipe stated. You'll be shocked at how many reeses cups you'll have to use... I know I was. Pile them on, the more the better.

Tea Pot Cake And Sugar Dish Made For Mothers Birthday
This is the teapot cake I made for my Moms birthday. The cake was made using a butter pecan cake and the Wilton sports ball cake pan. I then iced it with Cheesecake flavored BC and covered it using Bakels Pettinice fondant. I really like this fondant it handles really nicely. Spout, handle, and appliqués are gum paste. The napkin is made of fondant brushed with super pearl dust and was embossed using a lace mold. The doiley was made the same way using fondant. The fondant rope trim was made with a rope mold.
