Rich's Going Away Cake
This is the sheet cake that I talked about in the cake disasters area called Green Rivers. It did not do the bleeding until after I had to put it in the freezer (now I know that did not need to) and then brought it back out and it was thawing out. I work at a computer helpdesk so the cake is supposed to look like a piece of circuit board.

Heather's Bridal Shower
14" round- Bride's White Cake; 10" round- Buttermilk Devil's Food Cake; 9" heart- Chocolate Amaretto Cake; all filled with Raspberry filling (ladycakes.com) all iced with Buttercream/White Chocolate icing. The pink is from the filling- I had a little disaster with the big cake, so I made it look like I did it one purpose. Got a lot of compliments on it (*sigh* if they only knew)

Disaster Anniverary Cake
This was my first attempt at a 3-D cake- way before I found this site, I did it in 2001. This cake made me cry- literally. But my husband's brother and his wife still liked it- despite it falling apart on me and me placing straws in it to keep the whole thing from coming completely apart. It's supposed to look like a john boat- haha not quite.

Wendy's Baby Shower Cake
I made this shower cake for a co-worker- who had been trying many times to get pregnant (and going through much heartache in the process) was a expecting a little girl. I had a lot of fun putting my heart and soul into this cake design. I also got a lot of compliments at work on it- so the late night hours on this cake (see the thread in cake disasters called "Holy Cake....sort of" to get part of the story on this cake) was well worth it!!!
