Inspired by the other High School Musical cakes on Cake Central, this marble cake is iced in buttercream frosting. The character silhouettes were done using piping gel, which was tinted black. The "light bulbs" in the logo are edible pearls purchased at a local cake supply shop.

Ispired by other Cake Central users, I tried my own slice of cake. It is a yellow cake covered in fondant. Actually, it was my first fondant cake, usng the marshmallow fondant recipe found on this site.
Yellow cake with buttercream frosting. My nephew is a big fan of the PBS show Big Big World, so my sister had me make him a cake with his favorite characters from the show.

Cupcakes made using white cake and buttercream frosting. Picks are from Wilton. Cupcakes were tinted to "match" the color of the animal on the pick. (i.e. Tiger was orange cupcake with black stripes, elephant was grey cupcake, etc.) Grass and leaf tips used to decorate cupcake.
Pound cake made using Wilton's 3D bunny mold. Iced in buttercream. The "egg" base and grass are half vanilla/half chocolate, also iced in buttercream.
Half chocolate/half vanilla cake, four layers high, iced with buttercream. Some store-bought candies on top, egg lollipops made using candy melts. Grass is colored coconut. This is the first cake I ever sold. :)
