Store bought the rectangle cake, baked a half sphere, bottom cake is frosted with whipped frosting store put on it and I did the borders (badly, lol). The ball is covered in fondant with fondant accents. This was done to match my brother's online comedy team The Dork Brigade (see them on youtube, facecbook, etc.) The dixie cups were there until those pieces dried.

His mom wanted a whole bunch of stuff on it but we had very little time to work on it. The best part was the lego-man version of him. He thought that was cool. :) He still loves his Legos at 17 years old.

Friend requested I decorate a storebought cake with purple, pink & green with Dave Mathews Band firedancers (they are fondant) dancing on leaves (buttercream).... I haven't done a cake since the Wonder Woman in Jan. '07. She liked it though.
1st attempt at sculpting a cake and 1st attempt at covering with fondant. Buttercream border. Lemon cake with raspberry filling. Actually a little proud of it as it turned out kinda decent. What do you think??

First cake with rice paper. Devils Food. Cream cheese and buttercream frostings. Made my own design for the bbq top and did the gel thing. Our company colors are unafficially purple and green. Boss liked it.
The first cake I've ever done. It's not perfect by my brother liked it. It's yellow cake with butter cream and a little piping gel. I didn't have enough icing in the end to do all I wanted. So, this is my first attempt at decorating (and icing!) a cake.
