cake is buttercream imprinted with pattern. The turrets, fairies/tinkerbell accents are gumpaste, edible rocks. this was my first castle cake and I had such a fun time doing it for my neighbor's little girl. I hope I get to do one for her eldest!

a beach theme baby shower cake made for best friend's baby shower. figurines/shells/accessories are made out of fondant. sand is pecan sandies, cake is lemon cake filled with huckleberries (you're from the northwest if you know what those are!) iced with cream cheese frosting.
A Sesame Street bday cake I did for my daughter's 2nd birthday this past weekend. I really had alot of fun making the characters. If only I hadn't run out of time the day of the party to really focus on the cake itself! A fun project nevertheless.
my first attempt at basketweave. if I hadn't had such trouble with the cake to begin with (let's just say the base frosting color was not intended to be pink but due to issues with my filling I had to change plans and when I arrived at Michael's for class the cake had slipped on its side) I think I could have done a better job. By the time I started decorating I was ready to call it quits for the day!
