I love this cake...this was taken before flowers were put on. I don't (fortunately) have pictures of the cake with flowers (blush and peach colored roses) on the cake, but I did see some, and they were not pretty. I think this cake looks great as is, but would look really nice with some dark red roses. At least I got these pics.
This was for an older couple who were going to sonoma for their honeymoon. Their favors were wine bottles, and so they wanted something fitting.

As a loyal Georgia fan, it was very hard to make this cake (kidding). Gator is a chocolate transfer, and strawberries are striped in orange and blue chocolate. Chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream, and ganache on top.
Buttercream icing with fondant accents. The bow used to be whole, but when I went to put it on the cake, it fell apart, so I ended up sticking the loops in the cake.
This cake was a pain, because the bride didn't want a five tiered cake (she didn't want any other type of decorations) and so I had to do four. In the picture it looks like it's leaning, but I swear in person it wasn't. Anyway, I like the color combo, and I made the bow with pink chocolate. I think that personally it would look better if there was more of a size difference between each tier. Oh well...oh and please ignore the background, this was taken in my office.
Simple wedding cake. Made the bow using plain transfers, and white chocolate. Was really easy, and looks pretty good.

Made this at work this past weekend. It's cheesecake covered in fondant. I have a before flowers pic and after, I don't like it much with the flowers...not favorite florals. Anyway...the decorations are all royal icing with pearl dust on top.
So here's my cake all finished. Some of you were very helpful in helping me out with this cake, so I say thank you. I made this just to practice my fondant and was tired of the cake I used to have. It was a lot of fun...my hands hurt from piping royal icing, but it wasn't too bad :) Entire thing has pearl dust on it, and pearls are hand rolled fondant.
This was done at my job, I was in charge of designing the strawberries and doing the topper. The tips were supposed to be striped, but the pastry chef said that it was better they weren't, so that's why there are how you see them. The close up is the next picture. It's a cheesecake with buttercream icing, and the mickey head is cake and mousse covered in chocolate clay with chocolate ears.
Henna inspired wedding cake. All tiers are shown, as well as finished cake at reception. Fun to make because couple gave me free reign. Topper is polymer clay made by bride's best friend.
One of my best friends got married in Canada, and as a surprise, I flew up for the reception. Groom knew, and so he asked if I would decorate their cake, also as a surprise, and could do whatever I wanted. Of course, why wouldn't I! I met her in Spain, and that's where they got engaged, so spanish tiles is the theme. Had to make all these fondant tiles and hand paint them, as well as the flowers, and pack them to fly with them to Halifax. It was a lot of fun. Some breakage, but it wasn't bad.
This is from the mini cake pan that bakes both layers together. It worked really well for me. It was for a last minute couples bridal dinner so I didn't have much time, so I just used the #3 tip and made dots and then added cut out fondant flowers dusted with silver luster dust.. I think they're...each couple got one cake.
This cake was so much fun, and quite easy. My buttercream kids are a little "rough" but I still think they're cute. Mom said her girl loved it, and it got me two other orders, so I guess they aren't too bad :) Everything is edible except the trees, umbrellas and beach balls. Half chocolate/half yellow/buttercream icing.
Almond Pound Cake with Whipped Dark Chocolate Orange Ganache filling and outside frosting. Baby blue fondant cut outs and handrolled blue pearl border.
This was for my brother when apparently I thought that he liked flowers! He was a good sport though, and didn't say anything...I used the wilton pan that has happy birthday embossed on it, and just iced over it. Just a freehand design
Made these with the coach purse. I used pancake molds from williams sonoma. Couldn't find large shoe and purse cutters anywhere for the life of me. Anyway...they were cute, and came out well.
two tiered grooms cake, 1/4 sheet on 1/2 chocolate on chocolate. Simple scroll design, with fresh strawberries and fern decorations. They thought that chocolate covered strawberries would be too much chocolate so we went with the "naked" ones :)
This was for a dad that loves pizza. Cut out of a 1/4 sheet cake, all decorations are buttercream. I've included a side view as well. It went over really well.
